Fisher for Costa Mesa
City Council

Local government should focus on the everyday things that make a neighborhood work: safer streets and parks, smart growth that respects community character, support for both families and renters, and leadership that is accountable to the people it serves.

District 4 is home to young families, long-time residents, renters, and small businesses. It deserves practical, thoughtful leadership that listens, follows through, and keeps quality of life front and center.

FISHER'S FOCUS

NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY

Everyone deserves to feel safe at home, on their street, and in shared public spaces. That means addressing crime, nuisance behavior, and conditions around parks and sidewalks that make people feel uneasy. Public safety requires consistent enforcement, clean and orderly public spaces, and practical solutions that protect residents’ everyday quality of life.

A DISTRICT WHERE FAMILIES + RENTERS CAN THRIVE

District 4 is home to families, young professionals, and many people starting out. Whether you rent or own, residents should be able to live well here without being pushed out by rising costs or poor planning. That means clean parks, safe public spaces, nearby places to gather, and city decisions that are mindful of how fees, regulations, and policies affect everyday affordability. A strong District 4 is one where people can build stable, enjoyable lives and feel invested in the community.

SMART, LIVABLE GROWTH

Growth should make District 4 a better place to live, not a harder one. Development must respect neighborhood character, manage traffic and parking impacts, and support walkable, vibrant streets. Smart growth also means supporting local small businesses that give Costa Mesa its creative, welcoming character and help keep neighborhoods active and accessible.

ACCOUNTABILITY
TO DISTRICT 4

District 4 deserves leadership that listens, follows through, and focuses on what actually works. Too often, real problems are met with solutions that sound good but increase costs or fail to improve daily life. Accountability means practical decision-making, transparent use of resources, and stopping efforts at City Hall that make life more expensive without delivering real benefits. District 4 should be treated as an essential part of Costa Mesa’s future, not an afterthought.
